25 years of selfless service
Shreelatha Narayanan, an epitome of dynamism with compassion, received the All India Women Achiever Award for Excellence in Social Service, while our new member, Surbhi Sethia, for whom communication is a means of empowerment, received the All India Women Achiever Award for Excellence in Education.

In a glittering ceremony, the Achievers were recognised for their continued commitment to empowerment of women and underserved communities.

In SI Chennai, Shreelatha has always come forward to generously support programmes for the betterment of women and girls. She is one of the coordinators of and as Director of ABS Marine, instrumental in securing sponsorship for, the Talent Contest for Students with Learning Disabilities.
​
Surbhi is a parenting consultant and creator of educational content. As a published poet, Surbhi is keen to explore the lived experience of women in different situations. Bubbling with creative ideas, she is as keen to take up leadership roles in SI Chennai, as we are to provide her with opportunities.

IPP Vaijayanthi Bhashyakaralu was recognised for 25 years of humanitarian service by the International Association of Lions Clubs.
​
Vaijayanthi is a powerhouse of a woman who applies her knowledge of people, organisations and community to contribute in the best possible way to the betterment of women and girls.
​
She is passionate about supporting the planet and has undertaken several environment-related projects. She also is a natural mentor and helps guides decisions in the club with gentle persuasion and rational communication.
